Google map road trip

Road trip! But the fun of a road trip is what is on the way. And what if you drive within spitting distance of the World's Largest Ball of Twine but are unaware because the sign blew down?

This map will route you between point a and point B but meander a bit where needed to ensure you experience all local features along the way. Local features suitable for inclusion would be crowdchosen by uploaded photos or reviews or some such.

I can imagine that given 2 points the map would display the various points of interest along the way; clicking some of these will allow construction of a route including those chosen.
