Partly inspired by hi rez pics of the Titanic...but
mostly inspired by how empty my wallet looks these days.
An add-on for one of them Google camera cars, a series of endoscopey things which can sneak into people's wallets and take a photo.

Sooner or later, Google will embark on a project to map the location of each atom in and on the Earth. According to Moore's Law, we ought to reach that capability in something like 150 years. |
|
|
Most things would then be made much easier. To sequence a genome, you just root through the relevant bits of the map. To discover the lost hanging gardens of Babylon or MH370, ditto. |
|
|
The number of people who predict the failure of Moore's Law doubles approximately every 2 years. In fact, since I don't yet have a law named after me, I'm declaring that to be Buchanan's Law. |
|
|
Such an endoscope would disturb the wallet moths. |

|
// Ah, but Moore's law stopped working long ago.

Well Forty years when he only expected ten ain't
bad. |

I guess all possible improvements are done, and the
last one to leave, please turn out the lights. |

In the wallet is a card with a digital ident. The ident is a
reference of the current state of monetary affairs. |
|
|
Google wallet view decodes this number and produces a
picture. This picture can be a strip mine, hole in the
ground, some coins, wads of cash, bars of gold/platinum
or
small island country. And with the right augment and
payment, these pictures can be seen above the people in
the
street. |
