Agreed, but this is based on the seeming assumption that a
government is of one mind in making decisions, which it
never is. Good decisions of every flavor are proposed,
debated, supported, and opposed with equal fervor and
prejudice on all sides and by the time any conclusion is
reached, whatever comes out is a comprimise, a weak
glimmer of whatever world-changing suggestion was
originally brought to the table. |
