Glow in the dark wicks

Glow in the dark wicks and fire works

Middle schoolers and teens think glow in the dark wicks and fireworks would be neat and safe. When you light a firework and it doesn't go off the glow in the dark material will indicate if the fire is completely out before approaching. Also, using fireworks on dark, dark nights without the use of flashlights to get a full effect.

The idea is safety. How many have been afraid to approach a dud? The glow in the dark wick would give indication from a safe distance that the wick is completly gone and dead?

This is quite a nifty idea. But wouldn't the light from the match/lighter be enough?
