Exactly what the summary says. Inspired by a recent episode of Top Gear featuring car rugby. I thought "what if they had to do that without the cars?" Also, advertising space on the ball itself can be sold. It may be filled with helium to give it a long hangtime and make the game more interesting.
Giant football would require much more attention to teamwork and tactics. Alternatively, it would end up with both teams in a fistfight while the ball lay next to them.

If it's 6 feet (or '6 foot', if you insist) long, won't it be
rather hard to kick? I'd recommend making it six
feet wide and six feet tall as well. |
