A screensaver which creates fractal modelling of frost on the computer screen, building slowly the longer you leave it. Very pretty.

a pretty snowflake one here but its not frost building up as you describe http://www.krazydad...ndows_freebies.html

Wonder what it would be like in colder regions?
You would probably have to go over and shut off the saver to see what was really going on, screen saver freeze up or computer FREEZE up.

+, even though having an almost static image as a screen saver defies the point.

[soundman] I can't decide whether I'd like this more in the summer or the winter. Similarly, I'm not sure if I'd like it more, or less, if I lived in a colder place. [Detly], maybe it could have variable speeds, for impatient people like us.

Use your mouse to move a little ice scraper to clear parts of your screen.

[wombat] even better with a touchscreen.
Fishrat, Nov 28 2003

If it dripped realistically where you run your finger, that would be very cool.

Love it. Love the scaper bit too. Where would it stop though? Would get very Mandelbrot-y with all the smaller and smaller and teenier and weenier extensions forming.
