Freezer light
Something simple to get me back into the swing of things | |
A small problem that bothers me is that, although fridges have a light that turns on when the door is opened, freezers do not. To solve this problem a freezer as designed by me would be one of those huge american style ones with ice dispensers in them, and would also have an interior light that activates
when you open the freezer door.
Please note:Although a bakery search was conducted, a google search was not.
Half-baked.

Well our freezer doesn't have one :P |
|

perhaps kaz was looking for something a little more spectacular. like christmas lights - little running twinkles in and out of all the cooler boxes highlighting what was about to pass its expiry dates and large helpful messages illuminating the entire room "sausages are wonderful" and "greens are good for you" or "touch that chocolate cake I bought for the party on Sunday and you are dead meat" |
|
|
That'd be cool, not quite what I had in mind, but I'm sure some sort of light show upon opening of said freezer could be incorporated into the design. |

I did this one as an annotation somewhere.... |

We did invent a light for the freezer! It is called The Cooler Light (distributed by Coghlans), www.coghlans.com. It works well in the camping cooler, and works just as well in your freezer. I didn't have a light in my freezer either, so made the leap in trying out our own invention. Works great, and less than $10 at most major retailers. |

sweet. However we don't endure hucksterism here. The poster is simply misguided in indicating that freezers lack lights. Your blatant promotion belongs elsewhere. |
|
|
I dunno, WcW. I think if I'd invented something and saw
someone on the HB saying what a great idea it would be, I'd
be hopping up and down to say "ooooh! I've made that!". I
wouldn't jump to call Ms. Pond a huckster. |
|
|
If someone else had googled and found this, they'd have
posted an anno along the lines of "Hey, this is baked, they're
on sale at Coghlans for $10", and nobody would have
objected, would they? |

Ms.Pond if you could add a [link] to this post to your site, perhaps with the title "Baked", thanks. Though I note that as manufactured your light won't work in a refrigerator freezer (but will in a top-opening one) |

Now if we can just find [kaz]... |
