On the one hand, true. On the other hand, bollocks.

You will need -
2 pieces of bread,
1egg,
A dollop of chilli con carne,
Some al dente squid ink spaghetti (black)
and some green food dye.

Put slightly diluted food colour in a dish.
With a cup remove a circle of bread from the centre of one piece of bread.
Dip both pieces of bread in food dye and fry.
When you turn over the bread with a hole in it, crack the egg into hole (thus creating Frankenstein's Sandwich's eye).
Once the bread is fried, dollop the chilli con carne in the middle of sandwich making sure the eye is on top facing up.
Sew the spaghetti all the way around the edge of the green sandwich.
If you are particularly brave you can try and sew around the eye for extra effect.
Give the sandwich a little squeeze before serving to ensure some chilli sauce seeps through the wounds.
Hey presto - weird food. (do not serve to anyone on acid)

I dont know what they say about food stylists but i'm a 3 foot six chimpboy with sparkling blue eyes and wonderfully maintained dark brown fur.
Can you not have an idea for a recipe?

I think you can. There are better places for Aunt Margaret's Famous Chocolate Cookies, but this one is very much where it belongs.

       Fried.

That's what I was thinking, jutta. The elaborate and time consuming preparation, ingredientia obscura, intent, and end product that is revolting, edible, and even almost makes sense seems like a fine fit. *applause*

Think this is good, but a little problem with the procedure:

<< With a cup remove a circle of bread from the centre of one piece of bread. >>

Doesn't seem like a proper sandwich. Top slice is too big for smaller round bottom slice. Maybe the small round needs to be pressed with a hot iron to flatten it out a bit. Or just hammered with a meat mallet. Love the eye part. and the black spaghetti stitching is a gass!! The (do not serve to anyone on acid) line is maybe better as "Serve glass of acid on the side".

And there are no terminal points where you hook up the sandwich to the "machine". Maybe a footÐlong "Frank" furter under the egg? Zapped in

You've got it reversed...One side is not a circle, one side is a piece of bread with a circle removed, that the egg goes into...
