I propose encouraging the CO2 to react in such a way that instead of resulting in just holes, the eyes formed are instead Mandelbrot-shaped tunnels travelling infinitely through each
cheese.

Surely the size of the bacteria means there is a lower limit on resolution therefore not infinite? Unless you have magic GM infinitely small bacteria. |
