Lego, already maker of many fine toy car
kits, and the world's largest tyre maker*
should field a Formula One team. The car
wouldn't be the fastest on the grid, the
aerodynamics of the car being affected
by
the necessarily blocky shape but their
cars
would look cool, fall apart in a
satisfactory
way when crashed, and generate millions
from the toy marketing tie-
ins.
---- * Absolutely true
- Lego make more tyres than anyone
else.

presumably David Coultard would be their
preferred driver, given his likeness to

[jtg] That is quite uncanny. |

I would pay good money just to see dedicated Lego racing. |

[jtg] Amazing - Coulthard has to be the only choice for Team Lego |

[DrCurry] Nice link - when I visited Legoland in Windsor a few years ago (with the little AWOLs of course), there was a life-size model made in standard Lego of one of their Technic car kits - all the beams and pieces were scaled up. Very neat. |
