A sausage making machine incorporating a scaled up version of the Aquafresh toothpaste nozzle mechanism, allowing for the creation of mixed-meat stripy sausages.

A hit with kids.

How Rock Is Made http://www.coronati....co.uk/howmade.html
Seems to require stretching. Sausage meat isn't so stretchy. We may need additives. [my face your, Oct 05 2004, last modified Oct 21 2004]

And you can super size it for the whole, what do you do when you cross an elephant with a pig.

       A hit with the teenagers.

       Zork.

to be really flash, you could have letters running through the length of the sausage like seaside rock.
po, Jul 29 2003

not familiar with seaside rock then :)

So, a slice would show a letter, or look like a fried egg or cross section of a limb?
FarmerJohn, Jul 29 2003

Isn't this how they make those sliced meats with dinosaur/teddy pictures on?

FJ, looking at the sausage end on - you would see a whole word/s like - er, LONDON or BRIGHTON or LLANFAIRPWLLGWYNGYLL... or ENJOY YOUR MEAL, its all clever stuff.
po, Jul 29 2003

       Aha, cleverly stuffed.

I see now that my vision was too mundane. The bar has been raised. My plain stripy sossies are looking seriously homely next to the glamorous and extravagant alternatives suggested here.
Fearing that my meaty children will be bullied by their peers on the plate, I have spent some time thinking of how to prettify them so that they can be the belles of the breakfast. The following is the best I could come up with:
A Rotating Flash Banger. The aquafresh mechanism is made to rotate within the outfeeder tube, so that while the main meat comes out as before, the stripe meat appears to curl round the sausages, in a spiral. Or, indeed, some other pattern. Like sine waves, to corner the geek market.
I have no idea how to achieve "stick of rock" writing. >link<

I might try this. I'm getting out the kids playdough extruder right now.....spam and cheese wiz maybe. I think it would be a hit at carnivals.

"Get yer ice cold elephantpig stars here" Choose your shape of coarse.

Of coarse you have to have the tofu extrusion variety for those others.

       Great luck with your idea!
