New from BorgCo for the Christmas season, the must-have toy that everyone's talking about.
The exterior of the toy is a cube, available in NATO olive drab, Field Grey, or a variety of camouflage patterns.
If you open the lid of a Field Grey box, there is a short delay, after which a voice shouts
"ACHTUNG !" very loudly and a platform supporting a scale model of a Krupp 8.8cm FlAK 36 pops up. The weapon traverses and elevates, and then discharges a tiny, lightweight projectile at high velocity, emitting an ear-splitting BANG as it does so.
Other versions contain a British QF 3.7 inch AA gun (voice yells "STAND TO !"), a Russian 85 mm M1938 (untranslatable), an American 90mm M3 ("TEN-HUT !"), and a French Canon de 75 contre avion modèle 1940 Schneider (Voice shouts "Merde ! Fuir ! Allez, mes amis ! Fuir ! Vite, vite !". The gun does not fire; instead, a little white flag pops up and waves nervously).
Other versions under development. Collect the complete set.
Guaranteed to delight the kiddies and cause frail elderly relatives to suffer a cardiac arrest.

Is there not a ballista version? |
Sadly no, those are restricted under the ballista missile control agreements... |
//Russian 85 mm M1938 (untranslatable) |
Good grief, is it so hard to pick up the dictionary? |
"M1938" in Russian translates to "M1938" in English. |
It's untranslatable because the HB sadly doesn't support Cyrilic, and using the Roman alphabet would lack authenticity. |
Yes please. Have you got one of those ones with
the prawns on them? |
Difficult to get prawns on an alphabet. |
Possibly with a can of alphabet spaghetti, but I can't
vouch for the flavour... |
I want some of the French ones, just for comic
effect. |
