Run linear fish tanks embedded along the entire length of the
walls of underground train stations.
Instead of peering up gloomy tunnels waiting for trains, commuters
could contemplate the calming movements of the fish world as they lazily swim up and down the platforms.

Reminds me of the fish tank bathtub idea. + (oh yeah,
another + for the title.) |

Train these creatures to follow a crack commando unit (one that might have been sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit - before promtly escaping a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles Underground, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune) and you have Fish That Track the "A" Team. |

I was thinking more along the lines of common tropical fish, but each station could have a theme. Naturally the predators would gaze out hungrily at the suited bankers waiting at Wall Street. |

It would be interesting to catch lawyers and investors in their natural habitat, but I think you'd have to clean the tank often. They tend to suck onto the bottom of the tank like other bottom-feeders and block the view. |

I'm sure you realize wall size fish tanks are not new. this is just a make it reeeally bigger. and I think [21Q] is right, the noise and vibrations etc. |
|
|
//the noise and vibrations// don't make their way into the neighbourhood the trains travel through, thus providing a marked difference in both sight and sound for the denizens thereof. |
