An idea of a pen that consists of a
thin, flexible wire that you can strap
on to your index finger making it that
much easier to write. The cartridges
would be refillable-just snap another
one onto the original wire. Available
in any color. Easy to use, and easier
on the wrists-no more cramps
from
taking notes.

Where would the writing tip be? |
|
|
It would be on the end of the wire
at the tip of your finger. |

Good idea, but it's baked. See link. |

Oh. I guess I won't be making
millions on that patent, then. |

Innovation is through evolution not revolution, as my old marketing lecturer used to say. Do not be downhearted [Ecce], simply evolve this technique to other parts of the human anatomy! I suggest a collaboration with [benfrost]... |

She's 72 and currently languishing in a UK prison. Sort of the Brit version of Martha Stewart, [po] is. |

Writing with your fingertip is a labor compared to writing with a pen, I think. It's awkward. |
|
|
I think you would become
accustomed to writing with your
finger just as you did to writing
with a real pen or pencil. It might
be awkward for a short while
though. |
|
|
The link shows a normal sort of pen
which is just retained by a ring on the
finger, then swivelled round and held
like a regular pen for use. So, I don't
think this is baked according to the
link. |

I just tried surgical-taping a retractable
pencil to my index finger, and it sort of
works. Not as easy to control as a held
pencil, but this may be a matter of
experience. Plus my hand-writing is
normally terrible anyway. Plus don't try
picking your nose whilst wearing. |

This is an old device used by magicians. |
|
|
Really boring magicians. "And for my next trick, I'll make even more writing appear out of thin air!" |
|
|
Actually, it's quite effective. You pretend to write something on a pad, ask the sitter for a word or number, then pick up the pad, discretely writing the word or number with your finger writer. And thus the sitter thinks youve predicted what they were going to say. |
