Famous Lawns
Take grass from famous stadiums, parks, etc. from around the world and grow sections of a lawn from it. | |
Who hasn't looked looked at the fairways of Augusta or the outfield at Wrigley Field and not wanted to stroll out onto the grass for a walk? Well, why couldn't we? Would it be difficult to somehow pluck some grass from such famous sites and use it to see another lawn, to somehow duplicate this grass
and to use it on your own lawn?
Maybe it wouldn't be so easy. I don't know. But I'm picturing perhaps a small square of sod that you could keep in your garden, or maybe a plant dug up from somewhere famous and cloned for use in your garden. Roses from the Rose Garden? Ivy from the Ivy League? Dirt from the infield at Churchill Downs? The possibilities are endless.
Scottish football fans took England's football pitch home.

A fine idea, but I think it's baked. The Scots removed large sections of turf (and the goalposts) from Wembley Stadium in London in 1977. See link. |

Be legitimate. I already got burned by some knicker selling guy whom I fronted the cash for some of her royal mums. Next claim like that, I'm only paying C.O.D. |

Dunno, but the family should take a cue from the departed president Clinton. Don't be willing to shed your blood for your people, make the other guys shed their blood for theirs. |
