Extreme Twister Wrestling

"!!!" screamed the mime.

We were playing twister (don't ask) and people were falling over and such, but two people were up for a long time.

Could the game not be made even more interesting by adding a competetive component of wrestling?

Wrestlers battle each other, trying to force each other off of the mat, while keeping the various body parts on the correct colors.

Due to jutta's wishes, I have remove the pirate references.

Damn. It's got pirates in it. [+]

Actually, some people have led me to understand that there is no e4xplicit rule in Twister that prohibits any active actions taken against your oppnent, so long as you keep your colors.
5th Earth, May 20 2005

Yaar! [moomintroll] be right! It's the black spot for ye, unless ye can justify the name - I venture to suggest "Sumo Twister" may be more appropriate.

A little bit of elementary mathematics, arithmetic in fact, can be emplyed to spice up your twister games to excellent effect.

Simply subtract all clothing except that required for whatever dignity and self respect you can muster, and add a libberal coating of baby oil. Last new years eve's 'greco-roman' twister was a highlight of our family gathering.

Feel somehow that this may set the tone for this is my first post! Shall I be sorid henceforth? wait and see

Oh dear [DF]. The problem with attracting people to an idea by adding the the "P" word is that if it has nothing whatsoever to do with buccaneering, people like me are prone to be disappointed and award you a [-]. Put 'im in the brig boys!
wagster, May 20 2005

       Aye, argh me hearties.

       I've added something piratey!

PS Is there any correlation between the pronunciation of "pirate" and "parrot" and why they go together?
DesertFox, May 20 2005

This has everything to do with pirates. [+]

Be honest [DF] - you just put that word in there to change the voting links.
Detly, May 20 2005

Silly boy [DF], you should have just told me to sod off. Now that you've put in some justification for the pirate reference, aren't you going to have to explain the mime reference in the subtitle?
wagster, May 20 2005

yeah. We demand full explanation for mime references in the subtitles. Or ye walk yer own damn plank!!! ARRGggh!!
daseva, May 20 2005

You can dress up as mimes too.

And daseva, you are right. I just wanted to change the links :)

Due to your removing your pirate references, I have removed my fishbone.

I think that is a good idea, as long as I don't have to do it and I can watch people do it. With all their clothes on. Several layers of clothes.

P.S. I feel really stupid for asking this, but what are the pluses and minuses for?
hobbitcoat, May 23 2005

Just people indicating which way they voted.
Detly, May 23 2005

The plus and minus effects the adjacent text. At the moment it's set at +12, -8. This equals 4, which in txt spk is 'for', which is why you can see it to the right of the equation. Don't ask me where the 'against' came from. I think that's just Charles Taze Russel messing with our minds from his freemason's tomb.
