I'd quite like it if more things around me made comedy noises to accompany mundane tasks.

And I'd imagine it's quite easy to do. You brightly technical people could connect a sound effect thingummy to a sensor whatchamacallit just inside the letterbox's mouth.

And it's got to put a smile on the face of that poor postie when the letterbox farts copiously as he removes the mail.
