The materials from which jewelry is made are prized for their properties and their rarity. Proposed is jewelry made out of materials that are prized for their properties and rarity but do not occur naturally in nature. Pens might be made out of PEEK, with their grips made out of Kalrez or Aflas. Rings and watches might be made out of Inconel, Constantan, or single- crystalline nickel superalloy.

       I own a piece of the space shuttle heat shield tile, now that you mention it. Although as a tax payer you could say that I partially own the rest of it as well...
