Emperor's ball

Now, witness the might of this fully operational death star.

A three quarter/sphere mock up of the Death Star from Star Wars, (yeah, like you didn't already know where the Death Star was from), that clamps loosely over a conventional hamster ball.
Adjustable casters on the underside top of the sphere keep it rolling smoothly and activate whichever of the multiple pen light lasers that are in line with the hamster’s, (or gerbil's, mustn’t be prejudiced), direction of choice.

Next target :
Catooine.

I dunno. Maybe it's a gerbil. [DrCurry, Jul 06 2005]

"He is more machine than hamster now--twisted and evil."

Does it play the Imperial March?

Admiral Catbar: It's a trap! We can't repel a hamster of that mangitude!

Wouldn't poor Hammy come to a halt when he rolled onto the destructor beam "crater"?

Not if he got it riding along the circumfrential maintenance trench.

"What do you mean? Where is she?"

"Thats what I'm trying to tell you, kid. She ain't there. She's been totally blown away"

Not specifically baked but the idea is. In my friends local pet store are hamster (or gerbil) balls in several patterns, including stars and the sun. Still, nice thing to choose [+]

You could probably see this when the Emperor is wearing his new clothes.

// Wouldn't poor Hammy come to a halt when he rolled onto the destructor beam "crater"? //

I interpreted the idea as a 3/4 cover which stays upright using // adjustable casters on the underside top of the sphere //, so this would never occur.

//clamps loosely over a conventional hamster ball// Now, there's some text spawned by a 'bakery genetic algorithm.
