This microwave oven would include an elevated platform for the food and an angled reflection plate beneath the platform. This way the food could be heated from all sides.

You can buy a plastic raised platform for using in the microwave (I can't find a decent photo/link on Google). My mother has had one for ~30 years.

You have a mother ? Well, well, who knew, huh ?

The important part was "30 years". This is a very old idea (apart from the microwave reflector underneath).

       So vigorous food rodeo mechanics.

Instead of raising the food, why not lower the microwave?

I thought those were just a reboot of the old, pre-turntable style of microwave oven, where they have a rotating stirrer to stir the radio waves, rather than rotating the food through stationary radio waves. Are they something different?
