Electrically Grounded Playgrounds

Those big plastic playgrounds for kids are fun, except for the static electricity which seems to love them. I myself easily pick up a static charge (I dont know why).

We need to attach something that absorbs the static electricity. There are many ways to do this, it's just an idea. :)

       Install a big copper "shockin' pole" in the center of the playground. Mean spiritied kids can capture one of their own, hold him like a log of wood, then shuffle with him across the rubber mats chanting "shockin pole.... shockin pole...". When they get to the pole, loaded with charge, they bring pole and captive into contact. Now that's a playground!

       What do you mean? Going down the slide 3 times in a row to get the Elvira hairdo was one of the best parts of being in a playround!
