People with learning disabilities are in a similar boat as
those with
low vision. A white cane provides an opportunity to
promote
disability awareness as well as being useful for
navigation. There
should be a variation of a white cane that assists and
provides the
opportunity to start
the disability awareness conversation
to people
with learning disabilities...
...and to hit people with.
