My idea or flavoured pen coverings flopped like a fat man off a diving board as it was half-baked so I decided to modify it slightly. Ive already mentioned the problems of pen chewing so I wont mention them here. My idea is a pen made from an edible substance with the roller ball and ink supply placed
near the very end in an inedible covering used to hold the pen. (think just the screw off portion of a normal pen)
The ink supply would probably have to be a cartridge of some sort as theyre more compact. Im not really sure what sort of edible substance the pan would be made from, so I could use some help there.
halfbaked elsewhere...
http://www.sweetfan...com/humes_money.htm Search for "edible pens". Unfortunately, most references to "edible pens" elsewhere are referring to inedible pens with edible (food coloring) ink. [egnor, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004]

We definitely did this one before. I guess it got deleted. (Rightfully so...) |

Those little roller-balls are made of some of the hardest steel around. Good luck trying to find something edible to replace 'em with. Course, eating a few ball-bearings now and then might help clean out the pipes. |

I was just thinking about making the casing edible, I hadn't even considered making the roller balls or ink edible, thanks for the ideas. |

OK even if the other one is redundant, why are there so few votes on this one? |

Wiped out in one of those electrical storms you hear about, I imagine. |
