different strong flavors for different colors, draw a picture then crumple it up and eat it. draw a flavor masterpiece, just a slash of a crayon will add a strong flavor to your rice/pasta/bread paper. flavors could include; Pizza, Salt, Pepper, Mint, Cherry, Cheese, Peanut Butter, Jelly,

any strong flavor... help me out here...

I think we'll see this when we see salt-flavored bubble gum.

My kids have small edible post-it note type pads with markers, but there are no flavors... Actually there’s 1 flavor, 1 really yucky flavor. I can’t remember who made it though.

"don't eat that picture, you will spoil your dinner."

this would be a nice idea if the children got something nutritionally valuable from it or even if it conditioned them to enjoy their sprouts. its worth a paper croissant.

welcome monk, have some fun trying to find a nice category for this.

       Neat idea, monk.

For high security documents, this would be far better than a shredder.

I hate the flavor of FYEO documents. (Mmmmf, chew)

Why not go with the traditional flavors that go with rice paper? Wasabi, soy, ginger, fish paste, red bean, green tea, hot pepper, custard, peanut, green mellon and sea weed. +

At first I thought... yum, greasy rice. Then I read on.

I like the plan - kids would eat it up. Ya oughta contact Binney & Smith.

Always thought they should make edible Play-Doh too. It's non-toxic, but I understand there's small amounts of kerosene in it to keep it pliable.

// kerosene in it to keep it pliable //

       And flammable?

Goes great with a lego remote control or timer switch.

I'm with [sartep] on the wasabi, etc. Also, I can't really believe this isn't baked....
(searches internet)
Aha! See links.

They've got this now, but the ink is food dye, and I think the "paper" is some kind of gum.
Tabbyclaw, Sep 02 2003

yeah but you can't draw them tabby, they come already printed. taste awful too.
monk, Jul 31 2004

No, the ones I'm talking about are blank and come with a marker.
Tabbyclaw, Jan 31 2005

       capacin flavored?

       horseradish flavored?

       used gym sock flavored?
DesertFox, Jan 31 2005

I'll take Used Gym sock plesase {DeserFox].
I recognise that this is sheer weapons-grade magic, but it would be neat if the paper could taste like what you draw.
