Easy-Clean Car Panels

Remove panels from your car and put them in the dishwasher.

The thought crossed my mind recently that car-washes are somewhat inefficient. You have to bring your whole car through it, when, in fact, you're only washing the outer panels.

I seem to remember reading about some car which had nice removable plasticky panels covering it, which could be replaced (if you wanted to change the colour of your car.) How about panels which pop right off for cleaning purposes?

You throw them in the dishwasher, then reattach.
