The "atmosphere" preset in a keyboard will really mean that.

For a given geographic location, get the readings of barometric pressure for a whole year, remove DC component, normalize data to [-1,1] and save it as a wav file. Play it looping thru a sample player. Combining sounds from different latitudes, i.e. sahara, antarctica, australia, etc, we can get an authentic sound from the earth.
