view the agricultural robot [link]!
There is a really enjoyable. future affirming lightweight
agricultural robot at the link. It looks like a solar topped card
table that does weeding. It says it goes 12 hours a day.
I think that having drones fly fresh solar-charged batteries to
it could
keep it running all night. This approximately doubles
the financial ROI (return on investment) making it even more
popular.
Robots: keeping people out of crummy jobs.

Better link

Considering the amount of sunlight in the UK, they
might just as well plug it into the mains and get on
with it. |
|
|
The bigger issue is farmhands misusing it as a card
table while charging their phones. |

What's wrong with using a flamethrower ? |

Given that drones are airborne, whilst the weeder is
groundborne, it's probably more efficient just to have big
enough batteries on the weeder to run all night. |
|
|
If your drone assistant had a bright LED light shining
down to the robot's solar cells the weeding could go
on all night, or at least until the drone ran out of
power and crashed into the field. |

Darn! I thought this was going to be a drone with a huge
Fresnel lens turning weeds into smoke. |
