Driving Straw

Make long straws and drink through them

This straw is a meter long. It features, at each end, a rapidly actuating powered valve such that the straw is only open while someone is actually sucking on it. This keeps the large amount of liquid inside the straw from spilling. It's flexible but stiff and has offshoots which can be attached to surfaces in the car to keep it in place. It also has a powered assist to pump the liquid along, making it no ore difficult to drink from than a normal straw.

The user places his drink in a cup holder in the vehicle, arranges this long straw to his mouth, and can drink without ever looking or taking his hands off the wheel. When the cup is empty the straw continues to empty itself toward the top as desired via said pump.
