It occurred to me a while back that donkeys are quite strong. Strong enough in my opinion, to hold large machine guns on their backs. But i know what your thinking, how would these machine guns be fired? Simple, my fine feathered friend. The turrets would be neurologically attached to the donkeys
spine. This would infact give the donkey complete control over the gun. Then, the donkey would simply need training in who to shoot and who not to shoot. At this point I would pass the donkey onto a qualified trainer. What am I? a farmer?....Then the donkeys could be sold to the highest bidder, and everyone is happy. Especially me....and the cubans (they have lots of donkeys).
Wait, no, it was Pigeon Turrets

Sort-of baked. During WW1, the British Army mounted air-cooled .303 machine guns in special carriers on the saddles of cavalry horses. However, the firing mechanism was controlled by a human rider. |

I always wondered about Elephant Guns. Good idea, sure, but you need one hell of a big bandolier for the ammunition ....... |

Medieval armies used donkeys to kick cannonballs at castles. I'm sure you can guess what they called the holes created by these shots. |
