When I'm hungry I like to eat. But when I eat I am consuming, this causes a dilemma. It is a dilemma because I can't produce. It takes away from valuable producing time, or when I'm eating one thing, it takes time away from eating various other things.
So, that's why I bought the Don't P-late.
The Don't P-Late has on its face, a large clock embedded. It is seperated from my supper by a watchglass. Beneath are the standard hands, aswell as a second hand to add the sense of urgency that a properly devoured meal needs.
On a diet? Calculate your calorie consumption per unit of time and set alarm accordingly.

<a day later> Oh. Okay. Now she does. |

It's a clock; it's a dinner plate; it's a Don't P-late. |

"Don't P-late" = "don't drink water before going to bed"? |
|
|
I was suggesting a more subtle pun. |

Thanks Brau. No, not much different. I'm proposing one should eat off it. |

maybe the second hand could be thick plastic like a windscreen wiper and as it turned it wiped the food from your plate, forcing you to eat as fast as possible and making a mess all over your uniform. |

Ben... without wishing to cause offence, you do seem to spot the possibilities that nobody else has attempted to notice... |

So this P-late thingy would make the consumers eat faster so they don't waste time feeding themselves instead of "producing"? Lo siento, [-]. |

[Peri]'s convinced me this is evil. I already eat my lunch at my computer (ok, so I can surf the 'bakery, not actually work), it seems cruel to make me hurry as well. |
