Domesticated animal adjustment horror story

Or how a scientist discovers a way to make all domesticated animals look exactly the same on a vertical plane running longitudinally front to back, to the horror of their owners.

It's a slow day in the world of not_morrison_rm, as you can perhaps tell.

It was either this or the "hiring necromancers to try and do something about the UK economy" idea.

I like 'and' better than 'or'. Why can't we have the necromancers _and_ the VTOL livestock?

Interestingly enough, if you bisect a dog in the sagittal plane, and bisect a human in the sagittal plane but displaced to one side, and bisect a chicken likewise but with the plane displaced _and_ rotated, the three images are almost identical except in scale.

       and the feathers.

Thinking about it, modern technology can come to the aid of modern necromancer, one satellite at the right distance could carry the sacrificial chicken and project the pentagram around the UK. Tibetan prayer wheels spun up as gyroscopes could provide the means to orient the satellite correctly.

I'll take that as oblique flattery.

Hmm, wouldn't it save on weight if yer actual orbital necromancer just takes the chickens/goats up in foetal format, in a fridge.

Save a lot of mass, and who wants to muck out a space station?

I thought oblique flattering was the whole point of this idea.

Hmm, I'm quite taken with the idea of a career in necromancy, possibly stand-up.
