For That Huge Drink You Got for Free, Can't Finish, But Wish You Could

You asked for a glass of beer, but the waiter gives you a gallon. Fine, it's free with the meal, but...man, isn't it a wee too much?

Not if you have this: some little container bags down your pant legs, with a tube leading up past your belt, up your shirt, and discreetly clipped to your collar. You look around, whip out the collapsible funnel, plug it into the tube, and pour away. Small valves only let air out of the bags.

You finish the meal, thank the waiter, and ask for a little more beer. The sign says 'Free Refills'. The waiter goes, shaking his head...

Beer's pretty cheap. Would you really rather drink stale beer out out of a plastic bag that's been in your pants than buy a fresh one later on? And then have to clean out the beer pants (or whatever it's called)?

I mean, I know this is the Halfbakery, but that seems like an awful lot of work for a pretty marginal return...

Beer may be cheap, but this can be used for more expensive beverages too. And you wouldn't have to clean your pants unless...

*ahem*. This idea was conceived while observing a *very* large glass of pink lemonade at an all-you-can-eat restaraunt.

When I was in college, a chain restaurant used to offer an "all-you-can-drink" special (beer, wine or "sangria") during dinner. Fortunately, our classmates were servers so there was no reneging on the deal. Before you knew it there were kids running around on the roof of the building and getting in all sorts of trouble. It was fun while it lasted...

Sonny's was the restaraunt. And yes, a gallon would cost more, but I was only using that unit as a figure of speech. Besides, if it says free refills, that quart can grow...

       a more productive endeavour:
1) fill pockets of coat with ziplock bags
2) visit all-you-can eat buffet
3) choose back/corner booth
4) discreetly fill all bags
5) food for a week

I believe this was half-baked in a Chi-Chi's salsa commercial in the late 1980's or early 90's. (It features a man at a Mexican restaurant with such a mechanism trying to sneak restaurant salsa away)..

This is indicative of the amount of excess and greed we as human beings engage in. We are determined to consume more of something simply because it costs us nothing.

I know, I feel the same way about annos that you do.
