Many years ago, I posted an idea for a small digital
fly that would crawl around (annoyingly) on the
inside of a computer screen, in the same way as
they do when they land on the outside of an active
television screen. I think I deleted it as cannot find
now. |

It was elected to the leadership of the Labour party. If you watch the news, you'll see it crawling round now and again, making irritating buzzing noises. |

I can see that now. It's so obvious - bashes screen
with lump hammer. |

Can we interest you in a few spraycans of our special BorgCo Special High-Potency Digital Cat, sorry Fly Spray ? Very effective ... |

If the paper label rubs off, it's safe to ignore the white-on-olive-drab Cyrillic text underneath. It's only the cans we re-used. No reputable organization would ever offer out-of-date spraycans of former Warsaw Pact chemical weapons for retail sale as domestic insecticide, so you're quite safe. |

Don't use too much, though. |

Apparently they were Greek(-ish). |

I haven't seen an app or anything like that that does that,
but I have seen a few people with animated forum avatars
of flies walking around, at least one of which I thought was
a real fly for a few seconds. |
