A big piece of paper 21" x 21" that is digital and has all the fixings... put it over an object/computer screen etc.. The paper, like a skin, copies it exactly and retains that image or apperance until a reset button is hit... kinda like a paper scaner of any object... or when you get that blue screen of death and want to actualy debug the screen you pull out the chamelion (SP?) paper and you are good to go.. I know 007 would want one...

how does it work? or do you just wave a magic wand?

Does seem a bit magical. Perhaps it's from Rowling Industries.

Except, of course, everything will come out backwards.

And why not just use a digital camera like the rest of us? (And 007, for that matter.)

LCD technology... baby CCD cameras on one side... Plasma screen on the other...

Then it really isn't a "piece of paper"then, is it?
