All over our green and pleasant land TV transmitters are being switched off, digital is coming and the golden age of analog is soon to be over. But what will the Teletubbies do? Oh no! Their head aeriels won't work! How will they watch their little square tummies? They'll need to get digiboxes to decode the new digital signal: little green, furry, teletubby digiboxes. Connected by tubbystring to their head aeriels. They can carry them around in little satchels when they go out to play and watch their tummies among the rabbits.

I suggest they upgrade to "aerials", too.+

I actually submitted a script to the producer and requesting a dance-on part as Aunty GaGa who remembers when all teletubbies were black and white. I had a really really lovely response!

You know your child is growing up when you can no longer spell Teletubby correctly. As for aeriels - can't think of a decent excuse for that one.

This is a great and very lovely idea.

hey, its crucial to their survival. not seen them in the tv listings in an age.

Since the Teletubbies are already subversively promoting deviant sexual behavior in children, maybe they should have a cable hook-up character called Jack. After watching a video in their tummies, the Tubbies squeal together "Again! Again!" Now they could plug into the cable system saying "Jack in! Jack on!"

Please note that in some areas it may also be necessary to upgrade them to use a wideband aerial :)

I think the Teletubbies are notable 'early adopters' of new technologies. We're only just starting to wake up to video-on-demand but they had it years ago ("Again! Again!"). I wouldn't be surprised if their favourite clips were also accessible via some sort of teletubby-based PVR system.

Also, I wonder when the 'tubbies will go widescreen? I guess with the onset of middle-age spread that one will be solved naturally...
