Many a person has enjoyed childrens books to such an extent that they read them well into adulthood. To avoid embarrassment for those brave souls should they take their book out in public, why not a different cover? The cover will have to be of a book of similar size, and with a clear, separate looking
plastic covering, to make it look like a covered or library edition of another book if it's a paperback, or just like the sleeves of a hardcover novel.
With the book cover would be a short summary of the story, to give you a bit of background in case anyone should ask you what it's about and a suitable answer if someone asks what part you are up to.
This could also be used as a form of advertising, in a way, for not so well known books.

I think this is something the Lonely Planet people should do. Surely everyone feels a complete fool reading one openly on the street, I for one would prefer a cover with a more literary feel. |
