Keeping it all together

Nails or staples, fashioned from crispy-fried bacon or hard-baked cereals, to hold foods together to ensure the flavours are enjoyed together.

Therefore, a cube of egg, two small squares of bread, some lettuce, tomato and a bacon nail for a BLT Bite.
Cheddar, tomato, salt, pepper and wholegrain cereal staple for a mid-morning snack.
Two all-beef patties, lettuce, cheese, special sauce, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun, pinned with a 4 inch self-heating pickle skewer.

Now, I need to invent a way to stop the sauce landing on my tie.

       Simple, stop wearing a tie.

Nah. I have a collection of them. I like ties.
UnaBubba, Jan 23 2013

You could tie them around your ankles.
tatterdemalion, Jan 23 2013

Handcuffs would be cheaper than Zegna and Fornasetti ties.

Please tell me you don't pay $200 for a tie. Please tell me you found one at the thrift store

I have about 200 ties, some of them that cost considerably more than that, [Brian]. Others I got for $3.50 out of China. It's not the price, it's the way you feel about it.
UnaBubba, Jan 23 2013

wow that's awesome. are they displayed nicely at your house?
Brian the Painter, Jan 23 2013

I'll post a photo where you can see them. Wait a bit.

Kind of very halfbaked. But brilliant, all of them.
