Often, getting called on your cell-phone or beeper while on a date is rather annoying. However, on rare occasions, it gives you a chance to escape a bad situation that is getting worse. This service will increase in incidence of such events. Basicly, it works like this: The day before you go on a blind
date, you pay the company some money and tell them your cell-phone/beeper's number. The next day, you go out and the company sends an agent with binoculars and a cell phone of his/her own. If things go sour, he calls you and gives you a very serious sounding, yet ficticious call that requires your prescence elsewhere. If that fails the "agent" (dressed in suit and dark sunglasses) comes in and arrests you. Naturally, as soon as you get out of sight he lets you go. Either way, you have a guilt-free means of ending the suffering.
Get me out of here
http://www.getmooh.com/ An automated call back service designed to help you escape a variety of situations by calling you automatically on your phone at a pre-specified time and playing you a recording which will either instruct you on what to say to elude your tormentor(s), or which will simply give a convincing sense of you being on an important call. Why not just set up your fax modem software to a delayed send to your cell phone? It's not like you have to talk to anybody. |

"Sorry, the hospital just called. My heart transplant is waiting on ice for me." |

If you were al oser like me, you would have learnt how to test ring tones without looking at the phone, so you can make the phone ring with your hand under the table or in your pocket. |

Al Oser. I think I went on a date with him once... |

Al Oser, oh yes, he could have been a contender.. |

Al Oser, standing in the back of every group photo... |

My phone can also be programmed to have a reminder at a set time that is a ringtone, same effect. Got to talk to nothing after that though. |

I'm in the back of every group photo, especially when I forget to wear pants. ("It's just like that dream I keep having! Aaaargh.") |
