Deodorant

Deodorant for colored people that won't leave a white ring.

Do you have dark skin? When ever you wear a tank top and put on deodorant, do you have that annoying white ring in and around your armpit? Well I'm sick of it. They should have a REALLY invisible deodorant. If that isn't possible then have deodorant with different shades like the bandaids.

Antiperspirant/Deodorant Market Update http://www.happi.com/special/mar012.htm
Residue-free antiperspirants are apparently old stuff these days, "down to a science". Perhaps you disagree with how well they work. [egnor, Jun 15 2001, last modified Oct 17 2004]

I think this is a great Idea.... I have a friend who is black and every time she comes to my house she uses my deodorant and complains. I feel for her too because when she wears black tanktops it shows. She sometimes get frusterated with it! GOOD IDEA AMARETTO

This idea is obviously a product of an ingenius mind, a mind that is not only creative but is in touch with the needs of the people. I have witnessed this "nether snow" in action, so to speak, and it is safe to say that it is not aesthetically pleasing in the least. In fact, it's downright embarrassing. Perhaps even emotionally damaging... I shudder to think of it. As it stands, preventing such a tragedy is certainly a cause worth taking up, and u would do the world an injustice if u did anything but vote positively for this product. Congrats, Amaretto, on bringing this issue to light.

       Or a sort of purply-pink. "Buy Pit-Puce!"

Does anyone else find it curious that all these new people came out of the woodwork seemingly for the sole purpose of talking up this idea? It reminds me of this tie salesman I knew in Belgium....

       Or maybe I'm just paranoid.

Maybe we both are; I noticed that too.

Just use Deodorant Crystals. Mineral Salts is what they're made of, actually, it's what deodorants and antiperspirants need in order to be effective without all the crap tossed in, i.e. 'watered' down, fragrance, etc.. I've not stained one item of clothing let alone left any telltale residue at any point in usage for 5 years since I began using them. They cost twice as much as regular antiperspirants but last at least 10 times longer. My current stick is probably going to last 2 years as I have not dropped it yet - that is usually what shortens life of crystals - breakage
Amaretto, leave the groupies outside, takes away from the value.
'People Of Color' may be a better choice of words than 'Colored People'.

Do I not have color as well?

Been wondering how well those crystals work...
StarChaser, Jun 17 2001

I use a deodorant crystal. I dislike any scent that leaves a trail, more than the personal space, that is, about 2 or 3 feet away. I'd rather smell a little BO than most any perfume or cologne, although natural scents aren't too bad. If you want a scent that is specific for fighting BO, try a dab of tea tree oil in each armpit.

Don't they already have that? If not great idea.
