You know there something wrong when in the opening scene
there's a gun being shot. Its a water squirting gun but
nevertheless a gun.
He puts on the earphones explaining that they are for
protection. But because of that he (and us along with him) do
not hear something deadly important.
Later
on, back in the same workshop, he repeats the
explanation about the great earphones, discussing their
usefulness in a very similar way, but as it turns out,
he puts on regular earphones and we all hear what
we weren't supposed to.
The movie includes a murder attempt, clumsiness comedy, a
real family tragedy and a happy although surprising ending.
Throughout the whole movie every scene which has nothing to
do with DIY, is showing some kind of DIY technique, by the
way.
Which at some stage at the beginning make it funny. But then
when the faulty equipment becomes terribly dangerous, and
there's a derailed person on stage, that's when the real fun
starts.

Sequel: "Murphy's Law" with team making a documentary
about Murphys Law thinking its very funny. Then things go
horribly wrong and only get worse. It ends up that they are
arrested for a murder which they obvoiusly didn't do, only to
turn out that they actually did. |

So made at a DIY movie set? With DIY plot and DIY
props..so confusing. |

Has a "No ________ were harmed in the making of this movie"
disclaimer, which ends up being disbelieved by all. |

If you want DIY realism, have lots and lots of trips to the
hardware store to replace that drill bit which snapped off, the
OTHER type of fastener rather than the 14 types you already
have in a jar, and nothing ever quite working as well as you
envisioned. |

[AusCan531]; like an "anti-MacGyver"... trying to solve a
problem but never having any of the right "bits" lying around. |

I am reminded of the words of Alfred Korzybski,
There are two ways to slide easily through life: to
believe everything, or to doubt everything. Both
ways save you from thinking. |

Yes, we must have Wilson. But with some random
proverbs that are made up, attributed wrongly,
and have absolutely nothing to do with the plot. |
