I like to drink tea and I like to grow plants.

Tea makes me feel good and the multiple plants around the house brighten up my day.

I propose that whatever brand tea bag company, places a single Curcuma Inodora seed in each tea bag.

I steep my tea and drink it.

I toss the used tea bag into any old pot prepaird with some soil.

If am lucky the seedling will sprout, if not I just drink some more tea and try again another time.

The discarded tea bags will act as fertizer as it decomposes.

I don't know why but this idea makes me smile.

unless the swallowed seed managed to sprout inside your stomach and come out your DAMN EARS, THEN I'LL KILL YOU

Boiling water does not kill these seeds?

Ms. Green absolutely loves this idea, and tips her hat to the new found baker. I don't care if the boiling does kill the seed, the thought of something useful to do with all my green tea bags is movtivating.

       Excellent.

For those with a green tea thumb.

       //The process was called Scarifacation I belive.//

       Do you mean Scarification?

That is a form of body art where patterns, words or symbols are cut or gouged into the skin then allowed to heal into a "decorative" set of scars.

Webfishrune, I deleted that post but then looked it up it is called scarification, the word has two meanings.

Long time no phlish, modify I shall thanks for the input. Any suggestions by the way?

That is a thought, but I was hopeing for the effortless growing of decent looking indoor plants.

This could be a good thing though, you really wouldnt want a new plant with every pot of tea you made. It would be more random if one actually made it due to my poor ablility to manage time.

I heat the water and run to the shower, I get back toss my tea bag in the semi cooled water and enjoy my tea on the road. When I get to work I toss the tea bag in the grow pot next to my desk.

       Weeks later....
