While driving across Kansas, my feet resting on the carpet, my eyes on the straight and wide, desolate highway, I felt something was missing. My hands sought various grip combinations on the steering wheel to achieve comfort while still being prepared for a rare tire blowout or road-crossing chicken.

Of course if the 10-11 and 1-2 o’clock areas of the wheel were covered in Velcro loops and I had driving gloves with hook-covered palms, my hands and arms would hang effortlessly until the next corner. This idea made me feel almost as good as finding the needle in the haystack and avoiding the puncture of one of the stomachs of the family cow.

Good idea [+]. How about also Velcro between the back of your head and the seat to keep you from nodding off?

Something tells me [FarmerJohn] wants velcro gloves for different reasons ...
