I guess you have all heard of crop circles: giant pattern in the field that appeared overnight. Here is something to make the neighbor believe that you have connections up there and you don't have to lose any sleep doing so.
Design an automatic lawnmower that just goes around a electrical beacon
making a bigger and bigger circle until it encounters another beacon. Then it will start making circle around that beacon.
Now design the crop circle pattern and set the beacon in the ground. After dark, release your creation and let it do your bidding.
You should be the topic of discussion the next morning.
"discomfirmation can lead to strengthened belief"
http://www.circlema...g/case_history.html I really hope everyone is aware of the true origins of crop circles by now. [globaltourniquet, May 11 2002, last modified Oct 21 2004]

This would be a silent lawnmower, then? |

Your neighbors might just wonder more about why you mow your lawn at night. Look for the Realtor signs to figure out who's in the know. But cute, nonetheless. Incidentally, I used to mow a large section of my dad's lawn this way. a rope, tied just at the right spot to the mower, that unwound around a tire rim, staked into the ground by yours truly. |
