In the great movie "They Live", aliens appear human to
the naked eye but
can
be seen as what they actually look like when viewed
through
special
glasses.
By using insulating makeup applied at various thicknesses
and contact lenses to
vary
the apparent heat signature of the face,
the creepy scull
and bug
eye
faces of the aliens could be recreated when viewed
through IR
cameras. Obviously the makeup would be colored to look
like
a regular face so as to appear normal to the naked eye.
Watch the look on the security guards face. Laugh.
Repeat.
