       Because of fine detail, isn't it going to be a bit grippy for quick repeated zombie function?   

       The spike, may be a blurred view historic thing, really isn't a good label. I imagine the glycoprotein globular end shape would lend more to a massaging action.

       If the antigen sites have fractal-engraved surfaces, they should be rough enough for the desired mild dermal abrasion.   

       It needs to be about half a metre long, and solid silver to give plenty of momentum in the strike - a one-hit-one-kill skull fracturing tool.   

       No good against plate armour, mind, but that's hardly an issue.   

       So, good against werewolves, zombies, and irritating itches. Can it have an anti-vampire feature? Folds out into a crucifix, sprays holy water or garlic essence ?
