Corn on the cob is great, but it gets stuck in my teeth. Canned sweetcorn isn't the same at all.
Corn in the pod would have all of the freshness without the bleeding gums and gravy covered chins.

[Fishrat] - can you describe the corn-in-the-pod a bit more for me please? I'm intrigued but I'm not sure what it is yet. |

Well, if theese are peas in a pod:

Then these are corn in a pod:

I disagree, you merely need to be intelligent to eat corn without tormenting yourself or causing injury to yourself. |

Intelligence is as intelligence munches. |

The best way to cook corn on the cob is to grill it. Not entirely sure I want to have to grill, what, 200 corn pods. |
[DrC] These need steaming, splitting and munching. Mmmm. |
Thank's [Fishrat]. Have you any thoughts on what the pod is made of? Is it edible? |
Have you tried frozen, loose sweetcorn? |
//Have you tried frozen, loose sweetcorn// The rotting teeth of beelzebub himself. The pod should be green and edible, but not as tasty as the corn. |
