I grew up with corduroy. I loved my corduroy trousers and in my young adult years, a cord jacket was an essential.
One of the great features of the material for me was the way it subtly changed colour when brushed in different directions.
Corduroy Rogers takes advantage of this quality by using
it create actual images. Here's how it works:
The idea is quite simple - the image to be created is generated by stiffening areas of the corduroy tufting in such a way as combing it allows these areas to present as a slightly different shade. The effect is subtle, so the illustration shows an exaggerated version for greater clarity
Roy Rogers has been chosen (for obvious reasons) to launch the new fabric image range, but other iconic figures are available on request.

Suggested Sp. "CorduRoy Rogers" ? |

This is, after all, the slow class. You need to make the witticism slightly more obvious. |

I saw a Burning Man shirt which was made of many
small metallic "scales" with 2 colors on the opposite
sides, so rubbing the scales in a head-to-toe
direction showed the blue side but rubbing in a toe-
to-head direction showed the orange side. One could
draw patterns on the shirt by rubbing one way or the
other. |

I knew there was something disturbingly off. I was
forced to wear out-of-style hand-me-down corduroy
pants that probably originated from your place in the
timeline of fashion, the same folk who wore
polyester suits and thought that kitchens should be
the color of an army vehicle. |

Would it show Buck Rogers on the other? |
