A program that allows you to collectively install and uninstall groups of programs based on on your set performance needs. Thus if you collect hundreds of programs and Photoshop, which has brought your computer to an unacceptable halt, this program analyzes the installed tentacles , registry components,
etc. and allows you to "know" and select among the disparate collection of programs that match your defined performance standard.

I like the idea (gave you a croissant) but because enough people upgrade their machines so often those who have not may not be enough for a company to see any reason to make such a program. |

It would be nice if there was an equivalent website that kept track of existing free/paid apps of varying types (e.g. Paint, File Partitioning, Anti-Virus) so you could look at the chart and see which was best AND THEN with a click of a button the accompanying page's flash plugin could determine which particular app (of that section) would work best on your computer (by highlighting the table column to indicate speed level). |

since when did the contents of your hard drive affect "performance". What aspect of performance will I be repairing other than lack of drive space? |

I use windows and it happens to me whenever I download a bunch of bulky programs, especially antivirus or spyware, acrobat, visual studio (Not so far though in Windows 7). Assume it's a polluted registry that starts a bunch of background processes (registry cleaners don't work), but don't actually know the reason. Always have to format to fix it. I added link. |
