As mosquitoes do tend to go for the lower limbs, I suggest a two-walled pair of trousers, which contains hydrogen from a handy belt-mounted bottle. The pressure of the hydrogen is sufficient to make it slightly heaver than air, so preventing that going upside down and floating away effect.
Any attempt
to bite the human through the trousers results in mosquito being inflated with hydrogen and so floating away, thence to become lunch on the wing to any passing insectivorous bird.
Previous experiments with helium instead did not produce the expected mosquito whine going up a few octaves, so not worth the effort. Unless you are a heavy smoker and wish to avoid Hindenburg Groin scenario.

Bun for the term: "Hindenburg Groin scenario" |

Inflating the nether garments with a highly
flammable gas under pressure
what could
possibly go wrong ? [+] |

I'm somewhat certain that any material which is able
to retain hydrogen at any sort of pressure is also
simply going to be impervious to a mosquito
proboscis. |

Yeah, but they attack the upper limbs, too. Tell me, how this is going to solve the mosquito problem? It's just a patch, not even a hack. |

What's indicated is some sort of skin-tight suit
incorporating anti-mosquito reactive armour. |

|
Anyone volunteer to test that ? Anyone ? |

Why not just have a positive-pressure fan that inflates your clothes, blowing air between every thread like an old upright vacuum cleaner? Let 'em try and land. If your clothes are large enough, even if they do land they won't be successful at poking through to your skin. |

Do a hand-stand. Do I have to do all the thinking around here? |

Moderate like for Borg reactive armour, I believe Sturton once trialled some claymore trousers for the same purpose, but neglected to adequately label the outside "This side towards the mosquitoes" leading to the inevitable mishap.... |
