Comic Book Soap

Read a whole comic book story in one bar of soap.

Take pictures, (comic book frames or cartoons for instance) and layer them in a bar of soap.

As the soap is used up, the pictures would "appear" -- a surprise in the shower every morning...

Coupled with "Exam Study Toilet Paper" - I can finally get rid of the magazine rack in potty room[+].

The Far Side strip would be ideal. (+) You'd have to find a way for each image to slough off at an even rate. Maybe thin layers of gelatin or whatever it is they make edible capsules out of.
Oh wait, that *would* be gelatin wouldn't it?

If you could layer it correctly, you could make it a calendar too! Well... maybe not... I suspect some of us here skip showering some days, and that would throw it all off.

Very nice, [zig]. I nominate Whiteninja for a potential material.

       Seconded.

Would this be the flip-book style of comic, or frame style. Because frames might get confusing as one blended into the next. If you lathered really fast, you could watch the flip-book soap folks do stuff in real time.

You could animate if you really, really scrubbed...

       Cleanliness is next to oddliness?

Darn, I use shower gel. And I don't think I would like my kid to spend 3 hours in the shower just to get to the end of the story (-)

I think frames blending into each other would make it a mess.

But how about just a picture of a person, whose clothes gradually change color as you work your way through the soap?
phundug, Mar 03 2004

I think the frames could be made to not blend into each other... the picture of a person who's clothes change color... hmmm... I suppose their clothes could "wash off" too.

hmmm, I'm still likin' my bacon soap idea more, but HEY I'd buy this.
